Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi re-starts from Rediscover Abu Dhabi, a campaign promoting the staycation as a precious opportunity to rediscover the tourism offer inside the emirate.
The campaign is aimed at Abu Dhabi residents, but not only: the Department has announced that the costs for the COVID-19 test, with DPI technology, will be covered for tourists coming from Dubai, or other emirates, interested in the promotion packages, valid until August 31st.
The negative result, obtained within the previous 48 hours, is in fact a mandatory requirement to cross the border.
Rediscover Abu Dhabi’s initiatives include promotional offers to enjoy hotels, restaurants and shopping centers, cultural and entertainment attractions that have just reopened, all compliant to the required safety standards.
The campaign highlights that all hotels that have joined the campaign (five, four and three star structures) have obtained the official “Go Safe” certification , which certifies the implementation of cleaning, hygiene and anti-COVID-19 safety measures.
Among the centers dedicated to art and culture, in Abu Dhabi City at the moment it is possible to visit the Louvre, Qasr Al Hosn, Cultural Foundation and Abu Dhabi Children’s Library, while in Al Ain Qasr Al Muwaiji, Al Ain Oasis, Al Jahili Fort and Al Ain Palace Museum are accessible.
As for outdoor activities, it is possible to kayak in the mangroves, indulge in water sports of all kinds in the wide Abu Dhabi Marine, from jet ski to a leisurely boat ride, exercise at Yas Marina Circuit or play at Abu Dhabi Golf Club.
For indoor entertainment, you can have a try at Clymb Abu Dhabi, or visit the big amusement theme parks: Ferrari World, Warner Bros World and Yas Waterworld which has reopened to the general public last August 4th.
