New rules for traveling to Abu Dhabi

From 24 December, Abu Dhabi reopened to tourists with new provisions:

Following the successes achieved by implementing the precautionary measures to curb the spread of Covid-19 and maintaining a low rate of confirmed cases, Abu Dhabi will welcome back international tourists from 24 December 2020 . pic.twitter.com/Oq7X9qH8BF

The quarantine is no longer required for travelers from countries included in the “green list” who must, however, comply the protocols and guidelines in force for the containment of the pandemic.

Currently, all travelers arriving in Abu Dhabi are required to have a PCR test with a negative result, received within 96 hours of departure, and a second test on landing.

All travelers must then remain in isolation: travelers from countries on the green list until the negative result is obtained, all others for ten days.

For all travelers staying for six or more days, another PCR test must be done on the sixth day, and for those staying 12 or more days, an additional PCR test is required on the twelfth day.
