On March 28th, the Department of Health (DoH) of Abu Dhabi and Abu Dhabi Health Services Company (SEHA) announced the test service for COVID-19 “drive-through”.
The initiative has immediately been extended to the rest of the United Arab Emirates, with test centers in Dubai, Sharjah (also operating for the emirates of Ajman and Umm al Qaiwain), Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah, Al Ain and Al Dhafra.
The “drive-through” mode allows a person to take the test while staying in his/her own car.

Booking an appointment in Abu Dhabi for COVID-19 can be also done through the SEHA app (available on App Store for Iphone and Google Play for Android). The app, trough the link to eMalaffi, allows you to access to your personal medical information (at the moment we are just testing the app).
The service is mainly aimed at those with specific symptoms and the categories considered most at risk.
